As a former agent with Minnesota’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Roque has prior military officer (US Army). Whether he’s of Latin or Greek ancestry is a bit of a discussion, preferably over coffee.
He’s gained a bit of a reputation (depending on who you ask) as either: an idealist with a Colombo-like ability to reconstruct a crime scene, a bit of a press-hounding showboat, or as a fanatic who gets people killed.
Nonetheless, he’s survived several assassination attempts, and a couple of court cases against him (which fell apart, quite publicly.)
It may be a matter of time before his luck runs out, but until then, he continues to work, continues to open his mouth, and try to look good to the press doing it.

| Interests

Let us not pray to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless when facing them.
- Crime - He was a detective for the state police. Maybe he can help. He's still a PI, and apparently a good one (or so he'll advertise himself as such).
- Vigilante? - Fanatical murder tourist to some (Did he actually kill anyone?), Wannabe Wyatt Earp to others. (Did he actually catch anyone?)
- Video games - He does in fact like them. Seriously, so does the world! And he has a smartphone he spends too much time on.
- Guns - He likes to shoot – he’s not likely to rail on about the specifics of one brand of gun over another as if they were toys – unless there is a real functional difference. You might find him on the range.
- Politics - He is a military veteran who served in the contingency operations. He’s no commando, but he saw enough to have ideas on how things work and why… Or at least THINK he knows.
- Hunting - He’s actually been learning how to do that and clean game…. And he still gets queasy talking about it – but over a heavily flavored coffee, he’ll talk about it.
- Church - The Church doesn't like him attending Mass, though he believes in it. All this has to mean /something/... And he probably needs all the help he can get.

- Travis - Teamed up a few times. I used to think: "Maybe the best of us - or the most obedient." Definitely the latter. Conform and lick the right boots, and you too, can be First Knight. Don't? Travis will bring violence. Don't really speak to him anymore if I have a choice - some things are not easily fixed. Slimy politicians don't care which is which.
- Morgance - Just such an example of a politician. Doesn't really know the good guys from the bad guys... Maybe doesn't care.
- Creighton Clark - Even slimier. I shouldn't judge too harshly, I suppose. What's a war crime or two amongst friends? I was hoping you were not such a bad guy, just pressured into this. Nope. You're a legit villain. Justice will come.
- Haakon - An EXCELLENT Viking. Raids homes and kills children with the best of them! Even knows how to use a baby as a human shield. Ragnar would be proud. Villains gonna villain. Warriors will gather to defeat the villain. We'll see if your world of impunity will hold.
- Aideen - You may someday understand what I stand for. We might have more in common than you think.
- Drew - You died displaying Courage and Honor. I may not agree that your methods are enough - but you have shown courage, honor, and the willingness to seek justice. They tried to erase us. It won't happen. "Soldiers" - Otherwise
- Tiva Little Owl - Still haven't figured out if you're Billy the Kid or Jesse James. Perhaps the Regulators are due for a revival.
- Gabriel - Didn't think it'd be THAT easy did you? I was a big fan of your work, until I saw the other side. Do better. I know you can. Those methods won't be tolerated for long. There won't always be bigger fish to fry.
- Matiz - Heroic Homewrecker! I suppose he's not the first womanizing hero. Died a hero. That means something. Even Lancelot had a sex scandal. Your timing was the worst. I can't compete with the marble statue of a martyr.
- Josie - Sweetest Homewrecker! Seriously, you do so many nice and helpful things, and are so pleasant, that it is impossible to stay mad at you. Honestly, I think you may have greatness we haven't looked for.
- Ben - Hotheaded Homewrecker! Stays mad at everyone. All the time. Chicks dig bad boys - that's why your Child Support bill is about to get interesting. At least you've got courage...or stupidity. Slimy politicians don't know the difference.
- Lilith - They say it's the quiet ones that change the world. You can do a lot more than you think you can. I look forward to seeing you step out into the spotlight. You've earned it more than most of us.
- Molly - Hmm.... Firehair... It reflects your mind - alcohol burns too. It's always fun to gamble with you, too! (The fact that she's good looking has noooothing to do with it, of course...)
- Eden - So... the sister who fights the ex over the inheritance? I'll get the popcorn. Hmm... Honestly, you did better than people give you credit for. You went through a lot, losing your brother AND your lover... And now even more. Yeah, you can be weird, but you're still one of us.
- Jess - Some things transcend time. Taught me the manly art of hunting. I guess I'll always owe you for that one, and for other things. I'm sorry about a lot of things, not everything, but a lot. I have plenty to say - but the void is not the place for my words to go. "Sound of Silence" - Disturbed
- Harper - Beautiful, sexual... and somehow not sexy. How did you manage that? No matter - I think you will become great, despite your family's best efforts.
- Katiya - What she gave up for what she has... She at least feigns the understanding of some of the victims, and is willing to say something about it, when it helps her. She’s also leveraging (raising?) it for self-promotion (promoted!). She uses her assets. Respect the hustle. (The fact that she's good looking has absolutely nooothing to do with it... of course).
- Dean Olsen - I once thought you were nothing but a Blue Falcon. Having worked with you some more, I'm seeing there is more to you than that. Big, Bad, Strong, MMA. Seriously, people have developed weapons.... But... you still protect kids. A worthy warrior. (And I SAW you fight a small army. I wouldn't want to fight you!)
- Babatunde - I'm sorry we lost you. I will see to it that you are cared for until you pass into the next life. You stuck up for me even when it cost you. I won't forget that. Getting thrown under that bus hurts, doesn't it? I really am sorry that it was your own family driving it. I may be a pain in the ass, but at least I'm your /loyal/ pain in the ass. Even now, after losing you, I'll ensure your legacy continues.
- Gigi - Associate and Partner against crime... I know what happened. Someday, you'll get justice.
- Ajay - ...and someday, you'll /face/ justice. I thought you might be a step up above the others - but then I saw your real work...
- Aria - You sing of tragedies. I can point you to more. And for your boyfriend... Chicks dig bad boys. Well, at LEAST make a good song of it! (Seriously... He shot a woman and pushed her off a bridge... The dude's a villain!)
- Brenyn - A tragic life - for which you have only learned to create more tragedies. You could be so much greater - you /choose/ to be no better than your enemy. There is no excuse. Villains gonna villain. Someday that may cost you as much as it does your victims.
- Jordan - Still don't know how I wronged you, but sometimes it's just like that.
- Friedrich - You betrayed us. I stood up for you. I tried to help you. You could have been free. Instead, you let me down and betrayed us all. You can get almost any woman you want. No way /she's/ worth /this/ much.
- Summer - You're neat! The novelty is strong with you! You may not like me much, but the novelty is still strong with you! Now if only your courage extended beyond your four walls... I guess our peoples aren't that different.
- Avriel - I hope you are what you seem to be. If so, you might be braver than me.
- Andrew - You know so much. You can do so much more with it. I still want to help you. I don't judge you too harshly for your quirks. I have my own.
- Spamber - How can someone so crazy and so gross still somehow manage to be cute and pleasant? You are becoming something greater. You are becoming something you were meant to be - I look forward to seeing it.
- Georgia - Probably the steadiest rock among us. You doubt yourself, and yet you may have more potential to be a hero than most of us "certified" heroes. You're a Knight in bravery and behavior. All you need now is to finish your training. You deserve it more than many of us who have the title.
