Played By: Brock O'hurn Overview Simon was born and bred in Pacific Northwest. He joined the Marine Corps after high school, just in time to be a part of Operation Enduring Freedom, otherwise known as the War in Afghanistan. He came home after several tours as a wounded veteran with a Purple Heart award. He says he owes his recovery to a renewed faith in God. After that, he went back to school, gained a certification as a fitness trainer, and after a move to the Twin Cities, opened his own gym to serve the youth of the community. He'll say that there is no such thing as a former, or ex-Marine. Just one no longer on active duty.
