He joined the Marine Corps after high school, just in time to be a part of Operation Enduring Freedom, otherwise known as the War in Afghanistan. He came home after several tours as a wounded veteran with a Purple Heart award. He says he owes his recovery to a renewed faith in the Church, and a physical therapist who knocked sense into him. After that, he went back to school, gained a certification as a fitness trainer and opened his own gym to serve the youth of the community. Interests Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. ~ Helen Keller Marine Corp Veteran - The paperwork says he received a Purple Heart and an Honorable Discharge for valor.
