Imnizaska Sanctuary Leadership     Steward Summer Bellecourt - Order of Hermes Cabals Fujiwara Effect Chess Club Supernova Concerto Charter The purpose of the Inmizaska Sanctuary is mutual protection and the sharing of chantry resources. Collaboration is meant to ensure that every member will be able to follow their own Path of Gold. Property shall be held in common for the chantry. Members of the chantry will be assumed to have permission to use chantry property for whatever ends they see fit until specific behaviors are forbidden by the Chantry leadership. At the present time, the Chantry’s property consists of the Chantry House, known locally as Crystal Manor; the Vault at Eagle Mountain; the safehouse in Wyoming, MN; and the node guarded by the White Buffalo. Any Awakened individual is eligible for full chantry membership. This description includes Awakened apprentices. Sorcerers, psychics, and consors of other races with the sponsorship of a recognized cabal are entitled to protection and access to resources as much as any member, but they do not get to speak at the Solstice Meetings. They would be considered associate members. Familiars are considered part of their mage for all aspects of the charter. Membership shall be ruled upon by the Steward of the Chantry. There shall be one Steward of the Chantry. This Steward shall be an Awakened mage from a cabal in good standing selected by the chantry as a whole on each solstice, starting with the Winter Solstice of 2015. Their term of office shall last until the next solstice. If by misadventure or neglect, the Steward should be unable to fulfill their duties, cabals in good standing acting in unity may declare the need for an immediate selection of a new Steward of the Chantry, whose term shall run until the next solstice. This Steward can be from any Tradition or Craft but may not be an Orphan. The duties of the Steward are as follows. They shall coordinate actions intended to protect all members of the chantry. They shall manage access to resources held by the chantry in common, including the Chantry House, the Vault at Eagle Mountain, and the node guarded by the White Buffalo. They can also accept donations of resources in the name of the Chantry, after which they are authorized to manage said resources. When they become aware of a report of a violation of the one of the Eight Protocols by a member of the chantry, by an associate member of the chantry, or by a member of one of the Nine Mystick Traditions, they shall investigate to see if the report is true and then decide if the violation requires the convening of a Tribunal or the summoning of a Sentinel. They shall make sure that any Certamen involving a member of the chantry shall be executed fairly. They shall have the sole ability to recognize a cabal as being in good standing, which they must do at the beginning of each term. Once they recognize a cabal, they can only revoke that recognition with the unanimous consent of all other cabals. They shall be the voice with which the chantry speaks to the Council of Nine, and the Council of Nine shall speak to them when they wish to speak to the chantry. A Tribunal shall rule upon crimes committed by members and associate members of the chantry. Such a Tribunal is called by the Steward of the Chantry. The Steward shall sit on the tribunal in addition to two other Awakened mages, including at least one chosen by the accused. The other mage shall be chosen by the Steward or, if the Tribunal is trigged by an accusation from another member, it shall be chosen by the cabal against whom the crime has been committed. A Tribunal does not rule based on mundane law but on the Eight Protocols. The punishments it may levy are Censure, Ostracism, Death, and Gilgul or any combination of the four. The length of Censure or Ostracism is determined by the Tribunal. It may be a specific set of time or the fulfillment of a certain set of conditions. Appeals of the rulings of a Tribunal can only be made to the Council of Nine itself. Every member and associate member has certain enumerated rights and responsibilities. The application and acceptance of that application shall be considered a mutual Vow between the Awakened individual seeking to become a member and the Chantry speaking through its Steward to the member and associate members. Every member and associate member has a right to pursue their Path of Gold. Every member has a right to speak and vote at the Solstice meetings. Every member and associate member has a right to expect the protection of their person from physical and psychic assault from other members unless it is the will of a Tribunal. Every member and associate member has a right to withdraw from the Chantry at the solstice meeting (and only at the solstice meeting). Every member and associate member has the responsibility to act in accordance with the Protocols. Every member and associate member has the responsibility to acknowledge the importance of Certamen and act accordingly. Every member and associate members has the responsibility to work toward the protection of their fellow chantry members.
