 The Freehold was last governed by Baron - turned Duke Babtunde ap Gwydion, the man tapped as Duchess - now Queen - Morgance.  The question of who was to take over the underwater Barony was of much speculation.  When it became known that the Duke's childling granddaughter was tapped for the honor, whispers ran rampant.  Who on earth would place the responsibility of a freehold on the narrow shoulders of a twelve year old girl?  Babtunde, that's who.
-In the wake of that decision, Baroness Astarte has begun consolidating her hold on the Barony of the Mind's Eye.  She has been busy making appointments and assigning courtiers into positions of power.  She seems to have  fondness for Pooka; she was after all once called the Pooka Liaison by her grandfather  While it might have started as a joke, Pooka do tend to flock to her Barony, and she in turn has been seen empowering them and slotting them into powerful roles within her court.  What does the future hold for this Barony?  Who will gain prominence and influence over the young leader?  What will the next chapter of this story be?
