Once you have decided to play a vampire or a ghoul, you should communicate with Vampire staff either on the MUSH, on the Discord, or via email, which can be found on the staff +finger.

Many players who wish to play may not have a specific concept in mind but should refrain from asking staff “What do you need for me to play?”. This question is non-productive, as it has been the experience of staff that a player who is given a role they may not want usually does not play it for long. Rather questions like “I want to play like this, in the sphere, but I also want to play this?” will elicit hopefully questions that can help you firm of your concept. Once you have a concept in mind, you should render it down to a Clan and a two to three word base idea.

Unlike previous MUShes, the Vampire Sphere utilizes a questionnaire rather than a traditional background. This is designed to prevent extra work while developing the information most likely to become important during a character's lifespan. After receiving an acknowledgement for your, simply answer following questionnaire.

No Kindred is allowed to start above 11th generation. No ghoul is allowed to be ghouled to any Kindred above 11th generation unless that Kindred is already an NPC on the grid. To reflect the different ages of and therefore accumulated experience of Kindred and ghouls, you can choose one of these stat blocs to initial your character. Please note, if the character generation function on the MUSH does not allow a high stat block, you will need to coordinate with Vampire staff before Approval.
